The Polyp is a further exploration of Simmons inspired designs for Griffin Stepanek. Richard Kenvin, Joe Bauguess, and the Hydrodynamica project have been very influential to his surfing and shaping style, more so than almost anything else. This model is a return to genesis with some modern shaping tweaks he’s picked up along the way as well as some references to “Y”. Ride these as short as possible.
